So, What's news? K'ryn is talking more. She's grasped the meaning of "want", wholly. Don't want this, want that, yada yada. "Want music." My Sony boom box from Bloomington, once my sole source of music, has been added to K's room on a brand spanking new shelf. Well out of reach, of course. Introducing Beethoven, Brahms and Brubeck!

Seattle cold is over. Rain is back. Whooopee! My thermometer registered 20F (-7C), seven degrees colder than anything since we've been here. Thank you, Alberta!

Olymics. Impressed with Ligety, Davis, Hedrick. Not a good year for men's hockey on either side of the border.

Music. Ward will be playing with the Bellevue Opera (Cinderella) and the Evergreen City Ballet (Giselle) this April.

Congratualations to Phil and Louise Reilly on the birth of Samuel! We look forward to meeting the wee lad. Phil and Louise are Scottish friends residing in Vancouver, a fantastic city.
