Vacation etc.

So, we are moving forward with the house. First, the windows still aren't done on our new house. (2 replacement double panes (pains)). I hope the sellers come thru with this, because 1) our lawyer has already been paid enough and 2) the idea of liasing with the county court system does not sound appealing to me. The good news is the floors are done (they look REAL nice), the chimney's done, we got a bunch of free paint and brushes (complements of our real estate agent), and Ron and Gayle provided a new swing set for K! Assembled by Alvis construction :)

Kathryn has a hair cut tomorrow. Her 3rd birthday is next Wednesday!

We went to Lake Chelan with Gayle, Ron, Jen and Jeremy Alvis. A good time was had by all. Lovely, lovely place. Boating, hiking, fishing, beach sauntering. The cabin was fabulous. It had HUGE great room with a 20+ foot ceiling and sun room attached facing the lake with windows galore, a boat doc, lovely kitchen with island and stools and 5 bedrooms. We had a great meal at the "Italian Bistro" and winery. They even served wine! We also did the ARGOSY harbor cruise in Seattle and had a sensational Sunday seafood brunch downtown. I hope to get some pix soon. We are still stuck in the photographic dark ages, using *gasp* film. So old fashioned, I know.

We move soon, gotta pack, and I gotta paint the new base boards. Never a dull moment.
