I'm playing with the Lyric Opera Northwest this weekend and next. This is quite interesting music. The casts are highly skilled and La Traviata is just a fun show. One member of the chorus looks a lot like Ellie from the Soprano's Scratch Pad. Hmmm. I wonder... I don't think it's her though :) The show will be in Kirkland this Sunday night and next and in Bellevue next Friday and Saturday. There's a lot of C clarinet in this opera. If I just remember when to transpose and when not to, I should be OK! Click on the image to see detail in the text.
